Laois Gardaí seized a car that was parking in a disabled space without a permit.
The car was seized by gardaí in Portlaoise on Saturday.
“On the 31/08/2024, Portlaoise Gardaí seized a vehicle parked illegally in a disability parking bay at Market Square, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle had no valid tax or insurance,” gardaí wrote on social media.
“We want to remind everyone of the importance of respecting disability parking spaces. These bays are reserved for those who genuinely need them, and any misuse will not be tolerated,” gardaí said.
