Appeal for witnesses as bus carrying primary school children overturns

Two people were taken to hospital following the incident in Meath on Tuesday

Two people were hospitalised when a school bus carrying primary school children overturned on Tuesday afternoon. 

Meath Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to the incident which occurred on the R160 at Ardanew, Co Meath. 

“Trim Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to a road traffic collision involving a school bus carrying primary school aged children, which overturned. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon at approximately 3.20pm on the R160 at Ardanew. Two people from the bus were taken to hospital with minor injuries,” Meath Gardaí said on social media. 

“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have dashcam footage are asked to please contact Trim Garda Station on 046-9486140,” said gardaí.
