Gardaí have arrested a man on suspicion of stealing mobile phones at the Electric Picnic in Stradbally.
Laois Gardaí said the man, who is aged in his mid 30s, is currently being held on suspicion of stealing phones.
“There was one individual arrested and currently detained,” Gardaí said.
They said a number of mobile phones which are believed to have been stolen were recovered when the man was arrested in the main arena.
Gardaí are now trying to identify the owners of the mobile phones which were recovered at the festival in Laois.
