Gardaí have issued an appeal for information after a four year-old boy and a 60 year-old woman were killed in suspected arson attack on a family home in Co Offaly on Saturday evening.
A woman in her 50s who was also in the house remains in hospital with serious injuries following the attack on a house in Castleview Park, Edenderry at around 7.45am. A murder investigation is underway. Supt Liam Geraghty appealed for information this afternoon.
Gardaí in Offaly are appealing for any person with any information on this fatal incident to speak with investigating Gardaí.
