Laois County Council wish to advise that there will be temporary road closures in Portlaoise to facilitate festive fun and Santa's visit to the town.
Main Street, Market Square, Church Street, Railway Street and Bull Lane, Portlaoise from close 7am to 7pm on Sunday 27th November for the Portlaoise Christmas Market.
Laois County Council would like to wish every success to the Portlaoise Christmas Market.
Kicking off at 11am the Christmas Market runs all day until 7pm with over 40 stalls packed with lots of perfect Christmas gifts.
Santa arrives, 'for plenty of selfies' at 2pm just in time for the Santa Fun Run, registration for which starts at 2.30 pm in O'Loughlins Hotel car park. The big race starts at 3pm.
Santa turns on the spectacular Christmas lights at 4.30pm.
The day also features stalls, choirs, face painting, balloon animals and much more.
Come early because there is so much to fit in!
The event is supported by Laois County Council and Laois Hire.
