A total of 21 people are waiting on trolleys at the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, according to this morning's INMO figures.
All the patients are on trolleys.
This compares to 11 for Tullamore and 24 for Mullingar.
The Portlaoise figures is one of the highest in the country, outside of the main cities.
