RTE broadcaster and Mountrath native, Claire Byrne has given birth to a third child.
It has been confirmed in a statement that the television presenter gave birth on Wednesday, July 12 in Holles Street Hospital.
Claire and her husband, Gerry Scollan named their new arrival, Emma. Both are reported to be doing well.
The couple already have a boy and girl.
