Durrow woman put off the road for drink driving

A Durrow woman has been put off the road for drink driving.

Tina Dunne (31), Sean Doire, Durrow, was charged with drink driving, at Togher, Portlaoise, on April 8 last.

Inspector Ollie Baker gave evidence that the accused was detected with 91mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.

Defence, Ms Josephine Fitzpatrick said that as the accused is the parent of a young daughter, she was asking for the court to adjourn any driving disqualification until September to give her time to get her affairs in order.

Judge Flann Brennan convicted and fined the accused €200 and disqualified her from driving for two years. The driving disqualification was postponed until September 1.
