Cars should not be left unattended while being defrosted

Laois Gardai are warning people not to leave cars unattended while defrosting in the morning. 


“Frosty nights bring frozen windscreens the next morning so beware of starting your car in the morning to defrost it and leaving it unattended,” Laois Offaly Gardai warned.


“Every year thieves are out and about looking for easy targets so do not make it easy for them,” Gardai said.  


“Stay with your car and do not take any chances particularly in built up areas,” Gardai advised.
