Camross Heritage CLG. has secured €256403.00 under the EUJTF fund to open a community café in the Poet’s cottage in Camross, county Laois.
The Poet’s cottage is a thatched cottage owned by the community in Camross. It was built as replica cottage from the 1800’s and has served as a small community centre, mainly hosting meetings.
With the help of the EUJTF funding, it will undergo some minor renovations and re open as a Café in
the coming months. We are currently looking to hire a Café manager who will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the café.
Your key responsibilities will be:
To be successful in this role you should be a self-starter, capable of working on your own initiative and someone who enjoys being part of a new and exciting venture.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team with a strong customer service attitude. Ideally, you will have work experience with various roles in coffee shops.
Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.
Essentially have the flexibility to work 40 hours over 7 days. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our cafe into a favourite local spot.
Remuneration will commensurate with experience.
