The exciting search to find the Laois Rose of Tralee 2018 is officially on and Laois women will have an opportunity to get involved this week.
The Laois Rose Centre will hold be at Laois Shopping Centre on Friday to encourage local women to get involved in the festival.
Some of the Laois Rose 2018 hopefuls who have already put their names forward will be on hand to share their stories and encourage other women to join them on the Laois Rose journey.
Laois Rose Centre Organisers Lyn Moloney and Steve Cronly will have a stall at the shopping centre with entry forms and all the information needed ahead of signing up. Anyone who has ever thought about going for the Rose of Tralee can go along and chat to other entrants and the organisers.
“We would like to invite GAA, camogie clubs, societies, groups and businesses to nominate a representative from their respective communities to take part in one of Laois’ annual flagship events,” Ms Moloney said.
Mr Cronly thanked the sponsors and and the Leinster Express which is the print and digital media partner for this year’s event.
“We are delighted to have Laois Shopping Centre as our lead sponsor of the Laois Rose again this year, along with the Midlands Park Hotel where our Laois Rose Selection 2018 will take place on May 6th. We are also grateful to the Leinster Express for their support as media partner,” he said.
