Laois Rose 2018 entrant Saoirse Territt
The Leinster Express as exclusive Laois Rose media partner is delighted to introduce you to each and every Laois Rose 2018 entrant, ahead of the Laois Rose Selection night this Sunday May 6.
Every day we will profile two more of the contestants and today it is the turn of 22 year old Saoirse Territt.
Saoirse is from the small village of Luggacurren in the parish of St Josephs in Laois. She is a social care worker.
"I completed my degree two years ago in Youth and Community work in the Institute of Technology in Carlow. I have worked in Social Care for the past four years in many differents aspects," Saoirse told the Leinster Express.
She has just returned home from some extensive travelling.
"I spent a year away working in Greece and Malaysia, where I was organising events and fundraisers for the Penang Irish Association," she said.
"I love spending time with family and friends, travelling and being involved with my local GAA club," Saoirse said.
"I am extremely honoured to be taking part in this years Rose of Tralee festival and would like to thank my sponsor Manhattan Mixer and family for all the support and best wishes they have given me," she said.
