Cougars see off Moate

Ballyroan Cougars took to the court on Monday, November 3 to play their third game of the season at home in Mountmellick Sports Hall against Moate.

Ballyroan Cougars took to the court on Monday, November 3 to play their third game of the season at home in Mountmellick Sports Hall against Moate.

The Cougars side started strongly in the first-quarter putting 13 points on the board with Moate following close behind on 10 points.

The game continued with Cougars leading throughout, helped by top scorer Katie Savage and Nicola Doyle winning every fast break.

Moate were hot on the Cougars tails all the way through but the home side kept their noses in front to record a three point win. The games keep coming thick and fast for the Cougars who play Clonaslee in St Mary’s Hall, Portlaoise.
