A young Portlaoise man is making rapid strides in the world of wrestling, despite suffering from a visual impairment.
Jordan Percy was featured on RTE news recently, showcasing how he has excelled in the sport in spite of his disability.
Having only taken up the sport six months ago, Jordan has already secured a third placed finish in his first event, and he is now training for the Irish Open, which takes place in October of this year.
He competed at an event in Carrickfergus earlier this year, coming third, and in an interview with RTE (below), explained why he loves wrestling so much.
Jordan is no stranger to sporting feats either, and last year he ran a 5k to raise funds for the NCBI.
