Medals galore at swimming finals

The County Community Games Swimming Finals took place in Portlaoise Leisure Centre on Sunday last.

There was plenty of competition and some excellent swimmers on the day. All the races were very well contested in the finals. The winner in each event will represent their Area and County at the National Finals in Athlone in August.

Congratulations and well done to all the competitors. We would like to thank Portlaoise Leisure Centre for the use of their excellent facilities.Thanks to Denis Donoghue and Jane Walsh who co-ordinated the event.
