Success for little Dragons

A great display of skill and speed was seen in the Ring Side Club in Dublin recently when the Junior Celtic Dragons members from Mountmellick competed in a Junior Light Contact Tournament. All the fighters proved their dedication to their training and are ready to continue to prepare for the next one in May.

A great display of skill and speed was seen in the Ring Side Club in Dublin recently when the Junior Celtic Dragons members from Mountmellick competed in a Junior Light Contact Tournament. All the fighters proved their dedication to their training and are ready to continue to prepare for the next one in May.

All Members had a great day and the comittee would like to thank all the parents and relatives who came and showed their support on the day.

Celtic Dragons Committee and Chief Coach would also like to congratulate their Junior Members on their recent successes in their gradings. All members recieved their respective belts after completing their exams. Nearly an hour of skills and techniques display was demonstrated by each student who confidently and accurately completed by all members.

The Commitee and Coach would also like to congratulate Rachel Ryan on her recent bout in Galway. Rachel competed against (Galway Black Dragons) Leona Trout in her first full-contact bout. It was a very close fight with Leona winning by one point in round three. Rachel showed a great display of skill and continues to improve her skills with her training. Well done Rachel, keep up the good work!
