Met Éirean has added a wind warning to a snow ice alert as windy, snowy and cold wintry weather is set to grip this weekend ahead of what is going to be unsettled week.
Met Éireann says the Status Yellow wind warning is in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Kerry and Limerick.
West to northwest winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h and gusts of 90 to 110kmh, strongest in coastal areas.
The warning is valid from 4am Sunday morning until just before midnight on Sunday.
