The Leinster Express as exclusive Laois Rose media partner is delighted to introduce you to each and every Laois Rose 2018 entrant, ahead of the Laois Rose Selection night this Sunday May 6.
Every day we will profile two more of the contestants. This evening give a big welcome onto our virtual stage for Samantha Delaney, who is 22 years old and from Ballyroan in Laois.
"I’m delighted to be an entrant in the Laois Rose this year. I have lived in Ballyroan for the past 12 years," Samantha says.
She has a little daughter named Carly.
"She is the love of my life. She is 16 months old. She is such a sweet and intelligent little lady and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for her," Samantha says.
"I am a big family person. I live at home with my mam and my sister. I have very close family in Carlow, in Dublin and around the country. I am proud to say that in our family we have five generations. It ranges from my great grandfather to my daughter," she said.
Samantha works in the Styylebar in Portlaoise as a Beauty Therapist.
"I love my job and the beauty industry. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else for a living," she said.
Her chosen sports club to win the raffle proceeds if she wins Laois Rose 2018, is Portlaoise GAA. She is sponsored by The Office Bar in Portlaoise.
