The decorations are down for the most part and many Laois people might be wondering how and where to dispose of their Christmas trees.
Kyletalesha Landfill Site is accepting Christmas trees for recycling free of charge until Saturday, January 20 2019.
People have been asked to remove all lights and decorations beforehand.
