Laois Gardai will hand out bike theft prevention advice in Abbeyleix this weekend.
Gardai at Abbeyleix Garda Station are holding a Bike Theft Prevention information stand beside Abbeyleix Laois Libraries on Sunday, May 14th from 3pm to 5.30pm.
“Along with practical tips and information on how to safely secure your bike, we will also have lots of freebies for both kids and adults courtesy of Laois County Council and Road Safety Authority RSA Ireland,” Gardai said.
“Be sure to pop by to our #BikeWeek event and meet your local Gardai and also check out Bike Week Laois for other fantastic cycling related events being held for bike week which runs until 21st May,” they added.
Gardai are also planning to host the same stand in Laois Shopping Centre during bike week on a date yet to be confirmed.
