'Enough is enough' - Prison officer feels judges ire over video link to jail

Kildare Judge unhappy with prison service delays for video-link cases

A Naas District Court Judge became frustrated at the delays in a number of video-link cases.

In particular, Judge Desmond Zaidan made his disappointment known to a prison guard during one video-link case which was delayed on Thursday, May 18.

He also complained about the loud volume during a number of video-link court sessions.

Regarding the delays in the presentation of prisoners, the judge told the guard: "This happens all the time! Every day you waste my time."

Judge Zaidan added: "Enough is enough, it's the same old (problems) every day."
