Laois Offaly Gardaí have closed a road following a crash this evening.
Gardai said the road between Cloghan and Shannonbridge in Co Offaly will remain closed overnight.
“Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a road traffic collision on the Cloghan to Shannonbridge road in Co. Offaly this evening.
The road will remain closed between Shannonbridge and Moystown until late tomorrow morning,” Gardai stated.
They said diversions are in place following the crash.
