Cuisle Cancer Support Centre expressed thanks to Portlaoise Athletic Club for their generosity.
They posted a picture of the members of Portlaoise Athletic Club presenting a cheque at the centre on their Facebook page.
The donated money was the proceeds of Portlaoise Athletic Club’s St Stephen’s Day Run.
“Huge thanks to Portlaoise Athletic Club who raised €2285.46 from their St Stephen's Day run,” the Cuisle Centre said.
“Thanks to everyone who organised, participated and supported the event. In picture is Mary Mulhare, Daniel Downey and David Wajrak,” the Cuisle Cancer Support Centre wrote.
