Stewards are needed to help out for the duration of the parade in Portlaoise on March 17.
The organisers of the Portlaoise St Patrick's Day parade have issued an appeal for volunteers to help out this year.
The committee is looking for stewards to help for the duration of the parade on March 17.
Stewards will be needed all along the route and with registration of groups and floats from 11.30am at County Hall. The parade begins at 12.30pm and ends at around 2pm at the Top Square.

Volunteers will be helping out with monitoring the car park to ensure no one uses it as they need space for the participants, ensuring the participants are in the correct order for the parade and helping out with any queries they may have.
"This promises to be a great community event and we would love your support," said a member of the committee.
More details are available through the Volunteer Laois Facebook page.
