A meeting for people who have recently returned to Ireland and are living in Laois will be held in Portlaoise Parish Centre today.
The event is being run by Safe Home Ireland, a charity that works with the Irish diaspora and provides a range of services to Irish abroad thinking of returning home to Ireland.
The meeting will provide support for those that have recently returned and are finding it hard to settle in or facing challenges.
Information will be provided about the organisation and how they can assist.
"By sharing your experiences, you can make the road easier for others setting out on their return journey," said a spokesperson for Safe Home Ireland.
The event will take place from 2pm to 3.30pm on Saturday, February 17 in Portlaoise Parish Centre.
