Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) has received a funding boost of €435,000 to support further education and training.
Under Project Ireland 2040, this funding may be used by the ETB to plan and deliver, at a local level, essential small-scale works to improve the further education training infrastructure, provide for essential new or upgrades to equipment needs and implement energy efficiency and decarbonisation-related investment.

Sean Fleming TD, Minister of State said: "The continuation of this vital funding to the LOETB is very welcome. This funding will be continued at the same level, for the next two years. This will allow the LOETB to build on their plans not just for 2024, but for 2025 and 2026.
"This is an important investment in the Laois and Offaly Training and Education Board and their learners. The LOETB provides an invaluable service to support people who wish to return to education."
