The Laois Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LSPCA) are under serious pressure following a record breaking amount of admissions.
The Charity have announced that they are temporarily pausing admissions until they can tackle this challenge.
"As we continue our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our furry friends, we find ourselves facing a temporary challenge," the charity shared.
"Currently, we are at record capacity and the vet bills are continuously increasing. Regrettably, we are unable to accept any more animals into our care for the next few weeks.
"In light of the recent surge in admissions, our current fosterers have gone above and beyond, generously opening their homes to more puppies, dogs, cats and kittens than ever before. We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for your selflessness, compassion, and tireless efforts in providing love and care to these animals.
