ESB customers affected in Portlaoise, Mountmellick and Rathdowney
Eectricity power outages are affecting almost 200 Laois households and businesses this Wednesday, October 2.
There are 65 customers without power in The Heath, Portlaoise. The power was turned off at 9.30am and is estimated to be turned back on at 4.30pm this evening.
In The Rock area of Mountmellick, 52 houses are without power, while ESB Networks carries out essential scheduled line works.
Notification was posted to the affected houses earlier in the week. The outage began at 9am and will continue until 4pm.
Another 76 properties are without power in Rathdowney for more scheduled works. Electricity was turned off there at 10am and is to be restored at 3pm.
"We apologise for the loss of supply. We are carrying out essential improvement / maintenance works in your area and will restore power as quickly as possible," ESB networks say in all cases.
