Rosenallis NS
Rosenallis National School has the green light to advance plans for new facilities for children with additional needs according to Seán Fleming.
The Laois Offaly TD and Minister of State said in a statement that he was pleased to announce that the school in the Slieve Blooms had been approved by the Government for a special education needs classroom.
Minister Fleming welcomed the approval from the Department of Education and outlined what it would mean for Rosenallis NS.
"The building of this new classroom will provide quality resources that these children deserve and will be important for the local community and the growing numbers attending the local school.
"I thank the school management, the parents and all involved for their work on this and doing everything in their power to meet the educational needs in the area. MORE BELOW PICTURE.

"Finally, I want to thank my colleague, the Minister for Education (Norma Foley), for approving this project for special education in Laois.
"I look forward to this project progressing as soon as possible," said the Fianna Fáil TD.
Rosenallis NS is a seven teacher school with about pupils. A new school built in 2005 was expanded in 2009.
