Laois man surpasses halfway point in 100 mile target to raise funds for charity dear to his heart

Laois man Tim Oxley has taken on the challenge of reaching 100 miles in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation and in memory of his beloved wife Ann.

Since starting his trek in mid September, Tim has now reached 58 miles so far and is asking for donations to the charity who he said: "helps so many people and families going through really hard times like ourselves."

The Irish Hospice Foundation offer a wide range of services for those in end of life care and bereavement care. The charity are advocates and provide education to those who are going through the motions of losing a loved one or approaching end of life themselves.

Services provided by the Irish Hospice Foundation include Nurses for Night Care and the Bereavement Support Line.
