Killenard Community Centre issues urgent notice regarding clothing banks and recycling bins
The Killenard Community Centre in Laois has warned that the clothing banks and recycling bins at the centre will have to be removed if people continue to misuse them.
The community centre has said that the bins are being littered with rubbish such as old TVs, mattresses and other "inappropriate items."
Commenting on their frustration caused by this disorder, the Killenard Community Centre committee said: "This not only disrupts the intended purpose of these bins but also creates unnecessary clean up."

The centre has cautioned that the bins will have to be removed entirely if this continues, but insists that this would be done regrettably as it "would be a loss for the entire community."
CCTV will be installed soon in the area in order to address the issue, with the centre saying that any "individuals caught dumping rubbish improperly will be held accountable."
The committee has asked everyone to respect the facilities and use them responsibly, adding: "Let’s work together to keep our centre clean and community-focused."
