Gardaí seek assistance in locating teenager missing nearly a week

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 14-year-old Liam Gannon, who is missing from his home in Athy.

Gardaí say Liam is missing from the Kildare near the Laois border since Wednesday, February 19.

A statement issued to the Leinster Express / Laois Live said Liam is described as being approximately 5’ 10” tall, of slim build, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a light grey under armour top.

He is known to frequent the Tallaght area.

Anyone with information on Liam’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kildare garda station on 045 527730, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
