Uisce Éireann have announced that a Laois village will be without water in the coming week.

As part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, mains repairs may cause supply disruptions to Ballylinan.
The Kilkenny Road in Ballylinan and surrounding areas in Co. Laois may be affected.
Works are scheduled to take place from 11am until 3pm on 8 May.
"We recommend that you allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return," a spokesperson from Uisce Éireann said.
