At the event in the Community Hall there were presentations on plans for the new Community Playground, Multi-Use Games Area,  new car park and public toilets, the proposal for redevelopment of the building on site and site re-development phasing. Information boards and printed copies of the plan were available in the hall, and brief speeches will be delivered by key contributors.

"The Ballyroan Community Plan outlines strategic goals for sustainable development, infrastructure improvements, cultural enrichment, and environmental stewardship. It reflects the village’s growing energy, its growing population and ambition, and sets the stage for exciting new initiatives that will enhance quality of life for all residents. Ballyroan continues to thrive as a welcoming, close-knit village where tradition and progress walk hand in hand," said the committee.

"The launch of this plan is not just a strategic milestone—which will steer the development of the village and help secure future funding, it’s a celebration of community, belonging, and the bright future ahead."
