Management at Portlaoise College say they are celebrating another year of exceptional Junior Certificate results, with a notable increase in the number of distinctions achieved by students across a range of subjects.

Principal Noel Daly praised both students and staff for their dedication and teamwork, saying: “We are very proud of our Junior Cycle students. The increase in distinctions clearly reflects their determination and effort, as well as the commitment of our teachers to helping every student reach their full potential.”
Year Head Amy Mullally echoed this sentiment, commending the students for their focus and perseverance.
“This group of students worked incredibly hard and supported each other. It’s fantastic to see their efforts rewarded today — they deserve this success. A special mention also goes to their parents, who have supported both them and us in helping them achieve their best.”
As the students gathered in the school hall, surrounding Mr Daly at the centre, they opened their results together before being joined by their parents to celebrate. Portlaoise College extends warm congratulations to all students on their fantastic achievements and looks forward to seeing them continue to thrive in the next stage of their education.
