Castletown Community Centre is getting ready to celebrate the bank holiday weekend with a host of activities.
Events kick off with a Spooky Disco will be held and there will also be an abstract adult art classes with Kieran Hyland on Friday, October 24 from 8pm to 10pm.
On Saturday, October 25, there will be children's art classes with Linda. Session 1: Autumn craft 4 to 8yrs will be held from 1.30pm to 2.15pm and Session 2: Clay workshop 9 to 14yrs will take place between 3 and 4pm.
The Senco Sensory Bus is also rolling into Castletown on Saturday morning. It’s a peaceful, accessible space for anyone who needs a break from the buzz — open 10am to 5pm.
Everyone is welcome to hop aboard and enjoy a little calm amidst the fun.
There will also be art classes, a woodland walk and a Harry Potter experience from 10.30am to 12 noon and a Family Movie Night from 5pm on Saturday, October 25.
On Sunday, October 26, the Castletown Community Centre will host Monster Bingo with €3,000 in prize money at 3pm.
Pickleball is coming to Castletown Community Centre on Bank Holiday Monday, October 27. Adults and teens are invited to come along and try this fun, easy-to-learn sport that’s taking off everywhere. Great craic, great exercise, and suitable for all ages and abilities. No experience needed — just come and give it a go from 2 to 3pm and 3 to 4pm. Cost €12.50. Then from 7pm there will be a Teenage Movie Night with a movie and a slice of pizza €5.
