Laois commuters: Expect delays as Galway to Dublin train breaks down in Laois

Laois commuters travelling by train can expect some delays this evening as a train has broken down due to mechanical issues during the evening commuter rush hour.
The Galway to Heuston train is stopped at Portarlington train station and passengers are now waiting for an update from Irish Rail.
In the latest update at 5:30pm on Tuesday evening, Irish Rail said passengers travelling on board the 15:05 Galway - Dublin Heuston will be transferred to the 15:25 Cork to Dublin Heuston service.
