Laois/Offaly TD Brian Stanley has criticised the lack of public housing in the midlands, claiming money cannot be accessed for House Building Programmes.
“The lack of local authority housing costs money and means that private landlords are being subsidised with public funds to provide accommodation for those in need,” he said.
