Tragic death of young child on Laois roadside
A young child has tragically died on a Laois roadside.
Attempts were made to resusitate the small child on the road verge near the Gandon Inn, Emo on Thursday afternoon, March 24.
Laois Gardaí administered CPR at the scene until the arrival of an air ambulance. The tragic incident took place between 4pm and 5pm.
Local Gardaí have confirmed that sadly the young child died.
