A Portlaoise man has been sent forward for trial charged with numerous thefts and burglaries.
Before last week’s district court was Paul O’Shea (51), with an address listed at 207 St Brigid’s Place, charged with four counts of burglary in Portlaoise between December 20, 2013, and August 3, 2014, and two counts of theft on March 25 last year and June 18.
A book of evidence was served on O’Shea last week, and he will be sent forward to the next sitting of the circuit court on May 5. Legal aid was assigned to Ms Josephine Fitzpatrick, and one junior counsel.
