Fond tributes were paid on Friday April 17 to the late Seamus Costello, for his work on behalf of Gaelscoil an tSlí Dála in Ballaghmore.

The small Gaelscoil now proudly displays a plaque honouring Seamus, and an oak tree planted by Chairperson of Board of Management and former President of GAA Liam O’Neill, and by Seamus’ wife Carmel Costello.

Seamus was a former member of the board. Board members, dignatories from Conradh na Gaeilge, Gaelscoileannna, the clergy, the Costello family, parents & pupils attended the ceremony.
