William Mulrooney, 24 College View, College Avenue, Mountmellick, has been sentenced to two months in prison for burglary at The Methodist Church, Parnell Street, Mountmellick, on October 23, 2012.

Inspector Declan Dunne said Mulrooney admitted attempting to break into the church.
