Local musicians have come together to host a rock night next month to remember late Aoife Phelan.
The rganisers of the event, which takes place from 8pm on Friday January 11 in Whelans pub, Ballyroan, said the night would be a fitting tribute.
“Aoife was a great supporter of local bands, so a few of us decided that it would be fitting to remember her with something she lived for - music.
“Lets make it a good night for Aoife and celebrate her life. We hope everyone comes out to rock the place like she would have”.
The line up includes: Rapunzel’s Wig, James’ O’ Connor, Love Spreads, Lounge Act and I Am Godzilla You Are Japan.
All are welcome to come along on the night to remember Aoife. There is no charge but there will be a number of collection buckets at the venue for people to make donations. Proceeds raised will be going to local charities which will be chosen by Aoife’s family.
