The procession will make its way to St Mary’s Cathedral and the Cathedral of the Assumption via Maryborough Street and will process through the park where they will stop on a number of occasions for reflection. This is the Fourth year for our parish to hold this special Mass. People travelling to the Mass are asked to arrive no later than 6.15am. Please bring warm clothing, a folding chair or stool and where possible share transport in order to assist with parking. There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 07, 15, 24 and 28. The Annual General Meeting of the Heatherhill Residents Association will take place on Wednesday, March 27 at 7pm in St Fiacc’s house, new hall, Killeshin Road, Graiguecullen.

The quarterly collection for the support of the priests of the parish will be taken up at all Masses over the Easter weekend. Envelopes are in envelope boxes or alternatively you can use the special envelopes available at the church doors.


Due to the delay in the announcement of our new Bishop the ordination of the seven deacons which was due to take place in Carlow Cathedral on Sunday, May 19 has now been postponed until the new Bishop is appointed. We continue to ask God’s blessings on Joe O’Rourke from our parish and the other six deacons as they continue their studies.


Fathers John and Brian will bring Holy Communion to the sick and housebound for Easter on this Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26 and 27.


John Paul 11 participants are taking part in a 24 hour “Stay Awake” in aid of Trócaire on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday morning. Please support their effort.

This is the eighth year to run our Solemn Novena and it begins on Monday, April 8 and will continue for nine consecutive nights.
