Shanahoe will be full of festive cheer this weekend as a number of events get underway ahead of Christmas.
Festivities will begin with the official opening of Shanahoe Community Hall on Saturday, December 10 at 6pm. It will be followed by a Gala Concert showcasing a host of local talent.
The event will also see the return of the EuroMillions syndicate and tickets will be on sale at the concert.
A Christmas Craft Fair will take place on Sunday, December 11. The fair, featuring a variety of local crafts, will take place in Shanahoe Community Hall after 12 noon mass.
Shanahoe National School Parents Association will run a pop up cafe on the day raising vital funds for both the school and the hall.
