Another Laois player wins big in the Lotto draw

More than €150,000 won in past month

Again! Louth winner of €2.5m in tonight's lotto!

A Laois online national lottery player is the latest local winner in the national lottery.

The player is one of three players who won big in the December 14 Lotto draw after matching 5 numbers and the bonus to scoop €63,807 each.

The Laois winner was purchased their number online or on the National Lottery app. Shops in Donegal and Wicklow sold the other two tickets.

The winning numbers were: 10, 11, 15, 18, 20, 33 and the bonus was 13 and all the players were advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and to keep it safe.

It's the latest player from Laois to win big.

On December 2, someone bought a ticket at Dunnes Stores on Portlaoise's Mountmellick that won them €50,000 in the National Lottery’s ’12 Draws of Christmas’ promotion.

Another player won €50,000 after buying a ticket Breslin’s SuperValu, Rathdowney on Friday, November 25 in the EuroMillions 'Ireland Only Raffle.

Meanwhile excitement is growing ahead of this weekend’s Lotto draw (Saturday 17th December) after the National Lottery confirmed that it will be adding an additional €1 million to the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund.

This means all winners of the Lotto Plus Raffle will take home the usual €500 PLUS share an extra €1 MILLION between them.

Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees around 100 winners of €500 in every draw but tomorrow night, players are set for a boost in their winnings. By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1 million, the National Lottery predicts that each winner of tomorrow night’s Lotto Plus Raffle draw will receive between €8,000 - €12,500, depending on the number of winners.

There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot on Wednesday night which was worth over €8,373,355. This means Saturday’s jackpot now rolls to an estimated €9 million.
