Man accused of having drugs in Portlaoise

A man appeared in court accused of having Xanax and amphetamines in Portlaoise.
John Lawlor, 43, with an address at 11 Chantiere Gate, Portlaoise is accused of having Xanax tablets and amphetamines for sale or supply at his address on April 14 last.
Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said he didn’t yet have directions from the DPP in relation to the matter.
Judge Andrew Cody adjourned the matter back to Portlaoise District Court on December 7.
