October saw the culmination of the Laois GAA, Laois LGFA and Laois Camogie Club Championships. Portarlington needed two attempts to get their hands on the Jack Delaney Cup for the fifth time in six years, while Clough-Ballacolla followed suit in winning a fifth Laois SHC title in six years. The Portlaoise Ladies were crowned Laois LGFA champions, and Camross Camogie ended a four-year wait for an Intermediate title.
