With the inter-county season having rolled into August for the Laois Camogie and Ladies Football teams, club championship action dominated September. The biggest shock of the club championships came on Sunday, September 13, as Courtwood knocked out Laois GAA football kingpins Portlaoise. There were also champions crowned in the Junior and Intermediate grades of the Laois LGFA Championships. Park-Ratheniska also got their hands on the Laois GAA Intermediate Football Championship.
