WATCH: Laois fire service use cutting equipment to clear Laois motorway after truck fire
Cutting equipment was used to clear the road after a truck went on fire on the M7 in the Aghaboe area of Laois on Sunday evening.
Laois fire and rescue service crews from Porlaoise and Mountrath attended the scene of the truck fire alongside gardai and Midlink motorway maintenance.
Once the fire was under control, Laois fire service used its cutting equipment to clear away a damaged trailer after the fire last night.
It is not yet known if any injuries were reported.

This is the third road incident in Laois in the last five days.
The M7 was closed for a time last Thursday at Junction 16 after a truck drove into the side of the motorway. Read more here.
